Oral health is deeply linked to systemic health, yet women’s oral health remains a neglected priority. Understanding this urgent need, IDA conceptualized and implemented Abhaya, a nationwide initiative in collaboration with Group Pharmaceuticals, aimed at educating and empowering women to take charge of their oral health.

Through Abhaya, we envision a healthy smile on every woman in the country. We are here to end health disparities and ensure that every woman, regardless of her age, receives the dental care she deserves.

The initiative was inaugurated at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi, by Dr. Bharati Pawar, the then Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. It was also lauded by Dr. Kiran Bedi at the Delhi Dental Show, who recognized Abhaya as a much-needed step toward addressing women’s oral health issues.
